Hi, Anne. Here is Bianca Gerent. I’d like to report Yngwie’s concert in 12.05.07 Curitiba, Brazil.
This time I traveled 250 miles by car running wild to arrive before the concert begin. There I was again, at the same place, but in a different time. The concert began with Rising Force just like the last time, but at the time of the solo. Yngwie’s guitar got a problem and the band continued. Everybody was expecting Yngwie to come back because time was passing, but in the middle of the solo Yngwie returned to the stage with his amazing solo. After, an old song, very very good that he got deep from the chest, Demon Driver. Right after, Badinere, Cracking the Whip, Far Beyond the Sun, Trilogy Suite as always, You don’t remember, I’ll never forget with Demon’s Eye in the middle, Gates of Babylon, Locked and Loaded (I thought he would begin the concert with this song), Baroque and Roll, Exile, Crown of Thorns (amazing solo). DREAMING!!! I couldn’t stand the emotion and I cried. It was very very beautiful!!! After years asking to play the whole song, he played!! I couldn’t stand again during Black Star, I don’t know, but he put so much feeling on it that I cried again! Right after, he played Cherokee Warrior. I’ll see the light, tonight at the end, well I would like to listen Voodoo in concert, but Yngwie didn’t play it. I hope, next time (soon!!!) they’ll play Voodoo. After Yngwie’s roadie the so called white hair gave us a bunch of pinups and the set list!! Thanx, white hair! Finishing the concert I met Patrick, the keyboard player (I forgot his name, sorry) and white hair! They were very kind! They gave autograph in the piece of the set list I’ve got! The concert was incredible! I hope they return as soon as possible!!! Thanx! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! See ya!
