Well, what can I say to you, Yngwie? Unbelievable!!! Great!!! The Greatest piece of Music I have ever seen performed? I just watched the Concerto Suite Live DVD from Japan, and I watched it again and again. Now, I have seen you live on two occasions, and met you, (yes, I am the old guy again), and I will say this: "If anyone appreciates music at all, they MUST BUY this DVD." Not only is the music great, but the quality of the DVD, the clarity, the camera work, the whole production is magnificent!!!!!! Plus the extra's on the DVD are great!! Myself and my son and about 5 of his close friends (they play guitar, as we all do) (well, we try), watched this DVD with our mouths open in amazement. I said it before and I will say it again: "You are the greatest guitarist ever!!" I know that this must be one of the greastest achievements in your life. And I want to let you know that all your fans are proud of you!!! It seemed to me that you were extremely happy while you were performing ! So was I, watching it! Thank you so much Yngwie! I have just finished watching the Concerto Live DVD for the first time and I am quite impressed. I was expecting only the best from Yngwie but got a whole lot more. The picture and sound quality are beautiful. The orchestral version of Black Star is just awesome. Trilogy Suite is also very nice. Yngwie has outdone himself with this DVD release. This DVD is worth the money. Presto Vivace is one of my favorites to be performed on this DVD. If you are wondering whether or not to buy this DVD... save yourself the trouble and do it now. Thank you Yngwie for such an excellent piece of material.

I got the dvd today....i´ve seen it and it´s absolutely stunning! To actually watch Yngwie play with that orchestra is simply amazing. I´ve never seen anything like it! The sound and the picture is perfect. This is definately the peak of Yngwie´s career (so far). If you haven´t ordered the dvd yet, do it now! It´s worth every penny. I received my copy of the "Concerto Suite Live" DVD (and CD) today, and having watched it once, I can truthfully say that this is Yngwie's crowning glory. I don't know how many messages you pass on to Yngwie, but having followed his career as closely as any other true fan since 1988, I'd love him to know how proud I was to watch this and see him pull it off, live, so spectacularly. It's an awesome performance of some of the most beautiful music he's ever written, and I got goosebumps with excitement just watching it. I've been waiting to see this for years, and I wasn't disappointed in any way. Yngwie just totally nails the "Concerto Suite", in fact it's done so well that I may never listen to the original version again! Everything sounds more dynamic, and the acoustic pieces are just stunning....Yngwie writes some of the most beautiful acoustic music. The classical renditions of his other tunes are highly interesting too. The version of "Far Beyond The Sun", in particular, is a jaw-dropping moment. If there's any justice in the world, this will not only be nominated for a Grammy, it will win the damn thing! Yngwie plays the guitar like no-one else, and this DVD is the most brilliant legacy we could hope for. Astonishing!!

Max Salada:
I've contributed some concert reviews & pictures before; anyway, I ordered my copy of the live Concerto Suite on the 8th and recieved it on the 11th. This concerto is Yngwie Malmsteen's crowning achievement, it is a deep passionate and powerful piece of real music that anyone could enjoy. This CD should be a huge contender for the Grammys. I just hope that it gets the recognition that it deserves.

I just received the Concerto Suite Live CD from Japan and am awaiting the DVD. Yngwie, as the oldest member of your fan club, (yes, I am the guy that's 56), I have to say that this work is nothing less than astonishing!! This great work just shows that you are without a doubt in my mind : "The greatest guitarist ever!" I mean that sincerely! You probably do not recall, but you met me and my son Steven in the Norva and in New Jersey ( you got us in). It was the greatest bond with my Son and it was all because of your influence. Thank you for sharing your great talent with the rest of the world. I hope that everyone buys this CD and DVD.
